In a little
compact, sturdy plastic housing is put a
high-class switch with wire-wound
precision resistors of MANGANIN®. Using
this selector switch 11 fixed temperature
values according to DIN EN 60751 of the
resistance thermometer Pt100 are
simulated. The simulated resistance
value, which corresponds to the selected
temperature, will be picked up at the
terminals "Rsim". Two other
terminal sockets serve to simulate
connecting cable resistances between 10
and 20 Ohm.
The
selector switch of types 4511 and 4512 is
programmed with 11 temperature values as
individually given by the customer.
Within a range from -200C ... +850 °C
each temperature value can be selected.
The resistance material MANGANIN® used
in the instrument has a temperature
coefficient of < 10 ppm. Therefore the
ambient temperature needs not be taken
into account.
