  2. Handling calls on the switchboard
  3. Helping in Reception
    Welcoming, directing and entertaining visitors, with responsibility for maintaining
    the general image of the Reception area.
  4. Managing bookings for the conference and training rooms
    Handling the booking diary for conference and training rooms
  5. Handling the mail
    Opening and distributing daily incoming mail to departments
    Putting together and sending out daily outgoing mail from all departments
  6. Address database
    Organizing, managing and maintaining the address database containing some 50,000 addresses
  7. Sending out catalogs / brochures
    Handling incoming customer requests for catalogs and brochures
    by phone, fax and e-mail, and via requests generated from trade fairs, company visits and reader services.
  8. Handling the circulation of journals
    Logging incoming journals, distributing the journals to the departments
  9. Trade-fair organization
    Putting together the materials required for the trade-fair stand
    and trade-fair documents for the staff members running the stand
  10. Internet searches
    Searching for a range of information relating to ongoing projects in the department
  11. Assistance in special projects and staff projects
