With its RESISTOMAT® model 2305 burster now presents the "little brother" to the two years ago introduced measuring automat with the worldwide highest resolution of 1 NanoOhm. The new RESISTOMAT® has been developed especially upon requirements for resistance measurement in the field of quality control for motors and windings, electrical contacts as well as meter and cable probes in the wire industry. Especially probes with a high inductive share can be disconnected without problems due to a special current control. The new measuring automat offers 8 measuring ranges between 2mOhm and 20 kOhm, in which a measuring error of 0,05 % is reached. The operation of the measuring automat is effected menu controlled about 4 user levels. There are defined measuring mode, evaluation, special programmes and code choices. The basic model has already IEEE-, 488-, RS 232- and RS 485-interfaces as well as relay contacts for classifying and sorting processes. Additionally as a standard feature a connection for automatic temperature compensation is included in the delivery as well as opto-decoupled inlets and outlets for "start", "stop", "measurement" and "measurement disturbed". User specific standard measuring routines, as i.e. the measurement of cooling curves or statistic functions, make the measurement process extremely easy for the user.
