The new load cells model 8524 from burster präzisionsmeßtechnik now offer a great variety of measuring ranges, starting with the smallest one with 0...500 N up to the largest one with 0...200 kN. These load cells are disc shaped measurement units with a force link based on the strain gauge method. Static and dynamic forces can be evaluated either in tension or compression direction.

The accuracy of non-linearity, hysteresis and non-repeatability is 0.25 % F.S. and for the larger measuring ranges 0.5 % F.S. The sensitivity is always standardized to 1.5 mV/V in order to enable a replacement without new adjustment of the electronics or for sum signal from various sensors with one amplifier.

The sensor bodies are manufactured from corrosion resistant steel. In the middle axis a threat is cut, through which the forces to be measured are fed-in laterally and torsion free. By using the integral screwholes the sensor can be mounted on an even and plane surface.

There is a great variety of application fields for the model 8524 reaching from the measurement of draw-pull forces at press-in tools under roughest manufacturing conditions up to force acquisition for the set-up tuning of machines in laboratories. The measuring ranges < 0...50 kN are available ex stock, the delivery time for larger measuring ranges has to be inquired.
