burster presents its new PC software DIGI-CAL enabling the automation of calibration procedures in connection with the universal calibrator DIGISTANT® model 4422.

With the new software it is possible to calibrate test samples like transducers, transmitters, converters and to simulate thermocouples and Pt-sensors. Right after the data input of the chosen test sample, serial no., etc. via a laptop on-site or in the laboratory, the software DIGI-CAL starts the measuring procedure. Its calibration result can be presented graphically or in tabular form. Finally the measurement is documented by a printed calibration protocol. The values are stored in a relational data base and are available in ASCII format for further processing in all current software programs.

The new DIGI-CAL software enables the fast and therefore rational calibration of test samples which have to be recalibrated regularly. Through its documentation possibilities it supports the user in the realization of the DIN ISO 9000 requirement.
