burster presents a new and very compact tension compression load cell. Model 8435 has been designed for applications where dynamic forces have to be measured with high accuracies. The stainless steel load cell reaches a relative accuracy < 25 % F.S. The sensor is manufactured for measuring ranges from 200 N up to 5000 N. The mounting is easily done by 3 screws fitted in the outer ring, while the force is applied either via the centric internal thread or via the load application button. The sturdy construction with strain-relief and anti-bend mechanism for the connection cable render the tension compression load cell very interesting especially for industrial applications. Examples herefore are manipulators, fitting devices and loading machines. Due to its attractive and down-to-earth low price for the purchase of considerable quantities the sensor is predestined for customer applications in serial products.
