The new digital process indicator model 9180 from burster masters quite perfectly the precise measurement of load, pressure, torque but also displacement and angular displacement. Due to its very high accuracy of < 0.05 % the indicator meets first of all higher accuracy requirements. Connectable are strain gauge, potentiometer, DC/DC-transducers and transmitters with voltage and current output. The exact reading adjustment and calibration of the measuring chain is effected through teach in process or through input of the sensor data. Actually the whole instrument setting is done through an easy to operate menu control. On a 14 mm LED display located right under the main indication display a peak value can be shown optionally. Further it is possible to survey 4 limit values and to report the result via relays or transistor outputs. Thus the process indicator is suitable for classification and also control and regulation tasks in the industrial field as well as in the laboratory. On activation of an external HOLD-signal the measuring value is kept on the display. Useful is also the TARA-function through which for example initial loads can be compensated via keyboard or control signal. For a favorably low price an optional RS232- or RS485-interface is available and herefore also a ready-to-install PC software is obtainable.
