The portable calibrator model 4420 from burster is ideally suitable for the verification and calibration of measuring and controlling devices in the field. Thanks to its manifold functions the portable instrument fits for all applications of quality insurance and service technicians. The calibrator measures and simulates 8 different thermocouples in the temperature range of -269°C up to +1820°C and Pt 100 in the range of -200°C up to +850°C. Further the instrument simulates and measures voltages and currents. Typical applications are calibration and control measurements on transducers, indicators as well as positioning and control devices. I.e. it is possible to calibrate temperature and pressure transducers simultaneously at their in-and output by using the combined measuring and simulating function. Some more special qualifications are offered by the DIGISTANT® model 4420. With the automatic range function in selectable step ranges it is possible to control process operations as well as to perform linearity tests. The data logger function allows the storage of up to 256 measuring values either time controlled or manually upon input of the date. The instrument is calibrated according to ISO 9000 and comes with DKD (German Calibration Service) Calibration Certificate or Works Calibration Certificate. In its quality as a real field instrument the calibrator is protected by a sturdy aluminum case for the rough conditions in the field.
