The wide-spread burster amplifier module model 9243 for strain gauge and poten-tiometric sensors has now been topped by its IP 65 version. The sturdy metal housing can be bolted at any place of the used machine or equipment. The sensor and output signal will be led directly to the corresponding clamps by means of water-proof sealings.

The stimulation voltage for the sensor will – of course – be available. The balancing can be installed by the user himself. For this purpose a dip switch can be used on which zero point, amplification, limiting frequency and stimulation voltage are adjustable. By the aid of two setting regulators, a fine balancing is possible. At the exit of the amplifier there are three norm signals to be used simultaneously. While the ranges ± 5 V and ± 10 V are located on a separate clamp, there is a third one between 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA that is switchable. The mass grindings between measuring channels and the 24V stimulation voltage of which technicians are afraid, can be excluded by potential separation.
