The foreseeable change of vehicle on-board voltage from 12 V to 42 V requires a higher voltage source range for measurement and calibration tasks on electronic components. burster Germany has already met this demand and equipped its market proven high precision calibration source DIGISTANT^® model 4462 with a higher voltage source range of ± 60V / (± 22mA) at an accuracy of 0.003%.

The high precision calibration source fits for manifold applications as i.e. the calibration of data loggers, line and X/Y-recorders or other industrial devices by means of DC simulation of voltage, current and thermocouples. And especially where calibration jobs depend on the very last digit, as for example the adjustment of precision circuits in the vehicle manufacturing, medical or aerospace technology, the DIGISTANT^® model 4462 resolves the given test duties with highest precision.

Furthermore all conventional thermocouples can be simulated precisely either with turned off reference junction or with an external slip-on reference junction. Minimal drifts, high long-term stability and accuracy provide the necessary security for calibrations. Ramps, delta function and storage of reference values simplify the operation of the instrument. The DIGISTANT^® model 4462 can be utilized either as autarchic stand-alone device or integrated via RS 232 or IEEE 488 interface in automatic manufacturing and test systems.
