Erroneous measurements in press-in forces, torque, pressure systems or length can give rise to considerable consequential costs. A check on the measurement equipment at regular intervals is therefore necessary. With their new test equipment TRANSCAL model 7280, burster is presenting the market an uncomplicated method of carrying out these measurement checks quickly and economically.

The portable TRANSCAL 7280 digital display is a universal testing apparatus for checking the measurements of mechanical components in the fields of quality control, commissioning and plant monitoring. Using the configurable data logger, up to 2000 measured values can be stored on site. Apart from this, measured values and stored values can be exported to a PC or printer via the RS 232 interface. Through its facility for storing 10 parameter sets by using Teach-in or manual entry, strain-gage-based sensors and active sensors up to 5 V/20 mA with kN, bar, Nm, cm etc. units can be interchanged quickly and trouble-free.

Normal and rechargeable battery operation makes the TRANSCAL 7280 completely mobile. Its high level of measuring accuracy and measuring rate of up to 1000/s permit one deployment range even when dependant on dynamic and precise measurements. Furthermore, existing base loads can be tared off or min/max values determined during measurement. In order to comply with the necessary standards, the complete measurement chain is available optionally with a traceable works calibration certificate.
