Often there is a requirement
for a fast and simple acquisition of the measuring signals of a sensor in its
immediate proximity and then to transfer them without any additional amplifier
or converter directly to the PC for further evaluation. burster covers these
applications with its new USB sensor interface model 9205 by realization of
"plug & measure" and so launches a powerful and easy-to-handle
mobile measuring system.
The individually configurable
measuring chain is applicable wherever a PC with USB interface is available.
The USB connection allows plainest installation. Thanks to its small and
compact construction the interface can be used almost in any application. Its
convenient housing enables a quick fastening via screw clamp and protection
class IP67 permits its use also in rough surroundings. The sensor supply is
effected through the USB interface. A comfortable configuration and evaluation
software provides the user in best time with a mobile measuring system that is
able to visualize and archive measuring data without any problems.
The interface acquires signals
from strain gage, potentiometric and DC/DC sensors. Its integrated 16 bit A/D
converter guarantees a high-quality data processing. With a measuring rate of
200 measuring values per second the USB sensor interface masters also speedy
applications. For further processing the acquired measuring data can be
exported trouble-free to an EXCEL file. The software’s simplicity admits
also the unexercised user operation by intuition.
For these reasons the sensor
interface ideally fits into industry and academy test laboratories. By
networking of up to 4 USB sensor interfaces it is possible to conduct parallel
test and comparison measurements at complex test stands of different nature.
For its use as a mobile reference measuring chain a works calibration or DKD
certificate can be issued in combination with the sensor.
