The possibilities at burster are diverse, here we offer you an overview of our departments and their interesting areas of responsibility.
Our development department designs and constructs new products or improves existing burster products. Innovation and technical competitiveness are fundamentally important, as is a long product service life.
In addition to our foreign agencies, our export department also looks after direct customers. In addition to support, the diverse activities also include the preparation of quotations and freight processing.
Our production is part of production and includes the actual manufacture of parts and components. It works closely with planning and quality assurance. The processing of the highly delicate and sensitive parts sometimes requires the most filigree work under the microscope.
Our financial accounting department records, documents and monitors all financial transactions at burster to ensure a clear overview of the financial position and business results.
Our building services ensure the operation and maintenance of the technical infrastructure, e.g. heating, ventilation, water and electricity. It ensures a smooth working day and takes care of the interior and exterior.
The IT department looks after the entire company IT, from networks and software systems to support. As the central point for digital operations, it procures hardware and software and acts as the interface to external solution providers.
In our calibration laboratory, accredited calibrations are carried out in accordance with DIN 17025 and according to the highest standards of accuracy, traceability and international comparability. Factory calibrations, the issuing of test and calibration certificates or on-site calibration directly at our customers' companies are also possible.
Our marketing department is responsible for online, digital, print and events to ensure the ideal positioning of our burster products. To further increase awareness of the burster brand, we are working both on the customer side and in the regional environment to strengthen the employer brand.
Our burster HR department is responsible for all HR-related tasks - from recruiting and payroll to personnel development and employee support. It ensures a fair, motivating and legally compliant working environment.
Our production department manufactures burster sensors and measuring devices in compliance with quality, time and cost requirements. There are different work areas for different product types that require, for example, very delicate work under a microscope or are produced under the strictest conditions in a clean room.
Our quality assurance department ensures that our products and processes comply with the required ISO 17025 standard. It carries out acceptance tests with external inspectors and works on the continuous improvement of our products and work processes.
Our service team looks after our customers directly and, if required, even on site.
Whether maintenance, repairs or technical support - the satisfaction of our customers is crucial.
Our sales department is responsible for product sales and customer support. It forms the interface to our customers and advises our customers so that the ideal product can be delivered for each individual customer application.

EXPERIENCE REPORTS
Dominik Haas (Mechanics / Sensors / Design)
I primarily support production in solving technical problems and also work in CAD design. Although I design devices for process optimization, which are implemented using 3D printing. I also adapt parts lists in order to adapt them optimally to the respective production requirements.
I have been part of burster for over twelve years - including my apprenticeship, which I completed there from 2013 to 2017.
At the same time, I attended evening and Saturday courses for four years as part of my further training to become a technician. This involved several exams and a project in consultation with the company.
At burster, I particularly appreciate the flexitime, the independent work and the trust placed in me. The varied work as well as the friendly team and extras such as JobRad and free drinks make the workplace attractive. The working atmosphere is usually good and you always get support if you have questions or problems.
Dennis Schindler (Quality Manager)
I've been at burster for a total of nine years - three years training as an electronics technician for devices and systems, after which I was taken on and have been working in quality assurance for four years. My tasks include processing warranty cases, test equipment management, test planning and carrying out internal audits.
Parallel to my work, I attended technical school part-time at the Heinrich-Hertz-Schule in Karlsruhe. There I was able to deepen my knowledge of network technology, embedded programming and application development - including five written exams, a technician project and a final oral exam.
What I particularly like about burster is the variety of my tasks and the friendly, informal working environment. Cooperation within the team is excellent - you can also feel the strong team spirit and willingness to help across departments.
