Cooperation creates synergies for international growth
Burster Präzisionsmesstechnik GmbH & Co KG, a specialist in measuring and testing equipment, has announced that it has joined the English discoverIE group of companies based in Greater London (Fig. 1). The integration into the international electronics group opens up new opportunities for global growth and technological advancements for the company. The company will remain an independent part of discoverIE and will continue to operate under the burster brand. This step also sends a clear signal in favour of safeguarding the Gernsbach site and the approximately 150 jobs. "We are delighted to become part of the discoverIE Group in order to lead the company into the future while building on our strong brand and reputation. Our values and our commitment to precision and innovation made in Gernsbach remain unchanged," says the now former owner Matthias Burster. For burster's customers, the collaboration opens up new possibilities in the search for the best solution for their measuring tasks. In future, they will be able to draw on a broader expertise and measurement technology portfolio.
Cooperation creates new possibilities
burster has been a reliable partner for innovative sensors, automation measurement electronics in high-precision applications, as well as measurement and calibration solutions for customers in over 60 countries and almost all industrial sectors since 1961. The discoverIE Group, with its two divisions Sensors/Connectivity and Magnetics/Controls, already includes other companies in the industry. This enables burster to benefit from the extensive sales, development and production capacities within the group of companies and to establish itself in important future markets. "We see this new collaboration as a great opportunity to expand our products and technologies globally," emphasises Christian Karius, who has been appointed Managing Director as part of this realignment. With his many years of experience as Head of Production, Quality Management and Logistics, he is ideally qualified for this position. He will continue to be supported by authorised signatory Bernd Ziegler, responsible for sales, marketing and customer service. The dual leadership is completed by Matthias Burster, who will continue as Managing Director, now responsible for strategic issues and the integration into the discoverIE Group.
