The force measuring chain is a universal reference measuring chain for calibrating press-fit force measuring devices. It is used in the areas of quality assurance, implementation and system monitoring. A DAkkS calibration certificate is supplied so that the force measuring chain is traceable. The calibration is traceable via accreditation by the German Accreditation Centre. The calibration certificate records the display values for the installation positions 0°, 120° and 240°.
During on-site calibration, the reference load cell is placed in series with the force flow of the press-fit measuring device. The force application is of central importance for the measurement quality. Special force introduction parts are required to ensure that the line of action of the force corresponds as exactly as possible to the geometric axis of the load cell to be tested (centric load). It is also very important that no lateral forces and torques reach the load cell.
A sensor with the "burster TEDS" option allows easy configuration of the measuring chain used without having to enter values manually. This means that different sensors can be operated quickly and easily on the TRANS CAL 7281 and the respective configuration is no longer necessary.
The TRANS CAL 7281 mobile high-precision calibration and testing device supports strain gauge-based load cells. Due to the low error limits, the indicator fulfils higher accuracy requirements in particular. The tare function can be used to tare away an existing base load. The force measuring chain consists of the model 7281 measuring device and the 8527/8416 force transducer, which can be used to determine compressive forces of up to 100 kN (depending on the force range). With the help of the mounting holes on the bolt circle diameter (8527) and the torso on the contact surface, it is relatively easy to adapt the sensor to existing manufacturing and production systems. Depending on the existing pressing force, you can choose between measuring ranges from 20 N to 100 kN (divided into 12 steps / levels).
The reference measuring chain is fully configured and calibrated. DAkkS calibration is carried out in accordance with EN ISO 376.
The optionally available DigiCal software makes it easy to create measuring reports.
Measurements can also be exported in MS Excel format for further processing.
Communication between TRANS CAL and PC takes place via a USB interface.
