RTD simulators

RTD simulators are used wherever temperature measuring devices, transmitters or displays need to be tested and calibrated for accuracy. The RTD simulators from burster offer high-precision resistance simulation for RTDs such as Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100 and others. They enable simple and reliable examination of whether a measuring device is functioning correctly in the intended temperature range - in the laboratory, in research or in production.

Technology for maximum accuracy

With an Error of tolerance in the ppm range, high long-term stability and low temperature coefficient, burster RTD simulators guarantee precise and repeatable results.
Supported are:

  • 2-, 3- and 4-wire technology
  • Decadically or infinitely variable adjustable values
  • Resistance ranges from mOhm to kOhm

The devices are low-inductance, offer defined load capacity and are also suitable for demanding applications with variable current load and operating voltage.

Easy to integrate - also computer-controlled
All simulators can be easily integrated into existing measuring systems via interfaces such as USB, RS232, GPIB, IEEE or Ethernet - manually or computer-controlled. The devices are therefore ideal for automatic test sequences, calibration stands or software-supported calibration processes.

Certified and traceable
Each device can be supplied with a Manufacturer calibration certificate or a DAkkS calibration certificate in accordance with ISO 17025. This ensures full traceability to national standards - an important contribution to the quality assurance and documentation of your measuring chain.

Typical applications

  • Calibration of temperature measuring devices and transmitters
  • Simulation of RTDs in test benches or calibration laboratories
  • Development and testing of electronic systems
  • Field testing with compact, mobile devices
