RESISTOMAT^® 24508Digital high ohmmeter

With its performance data, this device can be used for all common areas of application. It is particularly suitable for measuring the resistance of insulating materials such as cable insulation, foils, textiles, floor coverings, insulating oils and so on. With test voltages of 45 V, 100 V, 250 V and 500 V, the device fulfils most test specifications, such as DIN 51953, DIN 53482, DIN 54345.

The guard circuit enables the measurement of individual resistances in a delta circuit, such as a two-wire cable with common shielding, or the measurement of insulating materials in a guard ring measuring cell.

The measuring range can be selected manually or automatically. Fast series measurements can be realised with the integrated limit switch. If an adjustable limit is exceeded, the limit value indicator switches and activates a potential-free relay output. The RESISTOMAT^® model 24508 megohmmeter is suitable for both laboratory and industrial use.

The RESISTOMAT^® model 24508 megohmmeter is a µP-controlled measuring device for insulation resistance. The device is clearly laid out and housed in a sturdy metal casing. Easy access to the individual components ensures optimum service.

The measuring range extends from 50 kΩ to 10 TΩ or 10 pA to 10 mA with test voltages of 45 V, 100 V, 250 V and 500 V. The device setting is supported by the two-line LCD display and the compact user interface.

Of course, all settings can also be made via the RS232 interface. The terminals for the potential-free limit value output and for the external measurement start/stop are located on the back.
