The RESISTOMAT® model 2320 is a universally applicable and easy-to-use measuring device for low-resistance resistors. The light and handy measuring device in a sturdy IP54 plastic housing with membrane keypad can be used in the service department, laboratory and in the field. The power supply is provided by built-in rechargeable batteries or commercially available batteries. In conjunction with a Pt100 sensor, the temperature of the test specimen can be recorded and the test specimen resistance calculated to 20 °C for temperature-dependent test specimens. The temperature coefficient of copper and aluminium is permanently stored. A 3rd and 4th TC can be set individually for each material to be measured.
The range of applications is versatile, e.g. measurement of
- Resistance elements
- Plug-in connections
- Mounting rails
- Fuses
- Cable connections
- Transformers
- Motors
- Cables and wires and much more.
The four-wire measuring principle used eliminates test lead and contact resistances. This makes resistance measurements in the mΩ range possible. The resistance value calculated using the current-voltage method is shown directly on a large LCD display in mΩ, Ω or kΩ. Both single and continuous measurements are possible, whereby the 6 measuring ranges can be selected either manually or automatically. When temperature compensation is switched on, the normalised resistance value at 20 °C is calculated and displayed. The measured temperature can also be displayed directly. Thermoelectric voltages are eliminated by the bipolar current source and by averaging (AVE button). If the charging capacity is too low, this is indicated by the "LOBAT" LED. The rechargeable battery or battery pack can be replaced very easily. The batteries are charged using an external charging station.
