The DIGILOW digital indicator supports force, compression or torque sensors based on strain gauges, as well as the The DIGILOW digital indicator supports force, compression or torque sensors based on strain gauges.
Various functions have been deliberately omitted to ensure simple and straightforward functionality. With the unique large and transparent digit height of 20 mm, the digital indicators can be easily installed in process control rooms and control cabinets. Use in a wide range of industry-related applications is sourced from the high variance of measurands that can be connected.
As a simple and small digital indicator, model 9186 can also be used as a multi-channel solution in laboratories or test systems where, for example, several different measured variables need to be recorded and displayed.
The TARA function relating to the strain gauge input enables the display to be zeroed on the front without complications, which can be caused by process-related preloads (dead weight of containers, sensor preloads due to tool adaptation, etc.).
The optionally generatable limit values allow production-orientated evaluation and control tasks.
The use of state-of-the-art microprocessor technology and a very clearly designed internal structure have made it possible to realise this extremely economical digital indicator. The simple, menu-driven setting of the devices is obligatory, and the self-explanatory abbreviations mean that even inexperienced users can soon manage without an operating manual. Firstly, the model of the input signal or sensor is defined. The user can then choose between calibration or parameter input (calibrate according to sensor protocol) and select the calibration procedure according to this. The decimal point can be set to any position.
In terms of hardware, the Sensor excitation voltage can be set to 5 VDC (standard) or 10 VDC.
With the help of a digital low-pass filter, it is also possible to react to application-related fluctuations.
