Digital indicators in measurement technology: precision and flexibility
Digital indicators are an essential part of established measurement technology and offer precise, fast and reliable displays of measured values in a wide range of applications. Whether physical forces, current or temperature - devices from burster offer a digital display of the recorded parameters and are indispensable in numerous industrial sectors, impressing with their adaptability and versatility.
Wide range of measured variables and interfaces
Digital indicators from burster are able to precisely record and display a variety of input signals such as voltage (VDC, VAC), current or mechanical variables such as compression, tension or anliegend. The latter is achieved by connecting sensors that convert these mechanical variables into electrical signals. Sensors that work on the strain gauge principle can be connected, as well as potentiometric sensors. Depending on the model, thermocouples and Pt100 sensors can also be connected. These devices offer an LED segment display and are available as built-in or desktop devices. The designs are standardized according to DIN formats and are therefore easy to integrate into systems and measuring devices.
Flexibility in data processing
Our digital indicators not only offer the possibility of accurately displaying measured values, but also often have versatile interfaces for further data processing. With the help of software such as the DigiVision PC measurement data acquisition software, the measured values can be recorded, evaluated and processed. This enables seamless integration into complex measuring systems and supports process optimisation through reliable and precise data transmission.
Power supply and outputs
The devices can be supplied with mains voltage or low voltage (VAC or VDC). Analogue outputs, limit switches (relay or transistor) and digital inputs and outputs are optionally available, which can also be used for simple process control tasks. These outputs can be flexibly parameterised and can, for example, trigger automatic control commands when certain measured values are reached, which means that the indicator is not only used to record measurement data but also as a control instrument in systems.
