In robotics and automation technology, the requirements for precise, tactile handling are constantly increasing. With the robust 8565 multi-axis sensor and its low crosstalk, you are able to monitor and evaluate your process at any time and regardless of the orientation.

With just one sensor, you receive precise 3-dimensional load information. The six independent outputs allow you to selectively evaluate the effective direction of the loads (axial force [Fz] / lateral forces [Fx/Fy] / lying moment (Mz) / bending moment [Mx/My]).

Thanks to its compact design and adaptation via the standardised robot flange in accordance with DIN ISO 9049-1, the sensor can be quickly and easily integrated into many applications.
If the slightest deviations are detected in your dynamic and complex manufacturing processes, you can intervene and readjust directly. This avoids faulty parts and reduces production costs.

  • Measuring ranges:
    - Load: Fx = 1 kN / Fy = 1 kN / Fz = 2 kN
    - Torque: Mx / My / Mz = 50 Nm
  • Low non-linearity from 0.1 % F.S.
  • Customized axis configuration
  • Robot flange according to DIN ISO 9049-1

Task

In a robot-controlled placement process, conclusions are to be drawn during the process about the correct parts, positioning and placement.

By means of a reference run, the forces and moments are recorded and serve as comparison parameters for the automated process. The distribution of the three forces and three torques provides information on completeness and alignment.

The placement process of workpiece carriers can be controlled, monitored and limited to maximum values, thus eliminating damage and rejects.
