The force measuring chain was designed for applications where accuracy requirements are not the main focus, but where a very favourable purchase price and simple functionality are essential. Thanks to the sensor's strain gauge technology, both static and dynamic force curves can be measured. The large display makes it easy to read the force acting on the sensor. With the 4 integrated threaded holes, the sensor can be quickly and easily integrated into existing production and assembly systems.

The sensor body is a flat, cylindrical disc with a spherically shaped load insertion button integrated into the top. In principle, the force must be applied axially and centred in the sensor.

A strain gauge full bridge is applied to the measuring element in the sensor, which converts the force to be measured into a proportional electrical voltage. This is shown as a force on the display.

The use of state-of-the-art microprocessor technology has made it possible to realise this extremely economical digital indicator. It goes without saying that it is easy to operate and set. Self-explanatory abbreviations make it possible for even inexperienced users to configure the device in no time at all.
