Due to its very small dimensions, this sensor can be used universally. Due to the lack of a measuring chamber (flush mounted diaphragm), this sensor is suitable for all measurements where residues of the material to be measured can lead to problems. The range of applications can be extended even further with various available threaded and weld-on adapters.

The miniature pressure transducers are made entirely of titanium and therefore have excellent corrosion resistance. The diaphragm, which serves as the measuring element, is machined from the solid material. Its inside is equipped with strain gauges. These convert the deflection of the diaphragm caused by compression into a change in electrical resistance, which can be amplified, measured and further processed by downstream electronics.

Up to a measuring range of 20 bar, the sensors are designed in the kind of measurement against atmosphere (relative), from a measuring range of 50 bar in the kind of measurement against enclosed atmosphere.
