Model 8201 precision pressure transducers are robust, available in common measuring ranges and economical. Their good technical data and high reliability make them ideal for pressure measurement in all areas of engineering, process engineering and control technology.
The pressure transducers are easy to handle, position-independent and insensitive to shock and vibration, as they have no mechanically flexible parts.
All pressure transducers without an integrated amplifier have a nominal sensitivity standardised to 1.0 mV/V. This means that sensors in a measuring chain, for example, can be replaced as required without having to recalibrate the downstream electronics.
Customised versions can be realised on request.

The measuring element of the precision pressure transducer is a diaphragm with a strain gauge rosette applied to the back. This is a Wheatstone bridge arrangement of four active strain gauges. The pressure measurement takes place against atmosphere (relative), i.e. the space behind the diaphragm is connected to the surrounding air pressure via a small, protected opening in the cabinet.
Each sensor is available with an integrated amplifier as a pressure transmitter with voltage or current output. The input of the integrated amplifier is protected against polarity reversal and the output is protected against overvoltage.
