8221High pressure sensor

Especially in high-pressure applications such as water jet cutting systems and hydraulic circuits, the reliability and safety of the sensor is extremely important. The dynamic loads of these applications require the use of sensors specially designed for high-pressure applications. The model 8221 sensor fulfils precisely these high requirements, e.g. an unlimited number of measurements are possible at dynamic compressions if the pressure is within the range of 0 ... 70 % F.S..

The stable design allows the measurement of liquid or gaseous media in the laboratory, in production or in mobile hydraulics.

The monolithic design of the measuring diaphragm ensures a high degree of accuracy, reliability and safety, as the medium does not touch any welding seams. The mechanical design with relief holes, which is consistently geared towards safety, allows static and dynamic compressions to be measured even under unfavourable enviriomental conditions.

To ensure interchangeability without recalibration of the downstream electronics, the sensitivity of the high pressure sensor is standardised to 1.0 mV/V. The sensor is equipped with a built-in calibration shunt resistor for easy calibration or examination of the downstream electronics.

In conjunction with the integrated amplifier option (0 ... 10 V, 0 ... 5 V and 4 ... 20 mA), the new, innovative function can be used for digital compensation: All you need to do is touch the marked area of the sensor with the magnetic pen provided.
